This dream takes place in the third person perspective, I was simply an observer and was not physically present within my dream. It looked as if I was watching through a police body-cam lens, with the filter/grain from it, when suddenly the person behind the body-camera pulls out an assault rifle. He walks into a pool area, in what seems to be in a hotel, and immediately shoots two people without hesitation . After killing them, he walks over to a hot tub with two children in it, he shoots them and starts drowning them. As I am observing, my reactions turns from pure shock to desperate and enraged cries. I could hear myself asking why this happened, sobbing and yelling at the fact someone would do this. He continues to force the kids to drown and I eventually wake up in a panicked state. I had no idea who any of the people were in the dream, where it was, or why it even happened. It was completely random and horrifying.
This dream may be reflecting a sense of powerlessness or fear that you are experiencing in your waking life. The third person perspective may suggest that you feel removed from a situation that is causing you distress or anxiety, and you may feel like an observer rather than an active participant. The violent and senseless nature of the dream may be highlighting a fear of chaos or unpredictability in your life, or a sense that you are not safe or secure. The fact that you become increasingly emotional and distraught as the violence unfolds may indicate deep empathy and concern for others, and a desire to make sense of difficult situations. It may be helpful to reflect on any areas of your life where you are feeling particularly vulnerable or anxious, and to seek support or guidance if needed.
